The SCOTUS has passed down egregious decisions that abridge the First Amendment and show contempt for the concept of representative democracy. Buckley v. Valeo, 424 U.S. 1976, and exacerbated by continuing stupid SCOTUS decisions, First National Bank of Boston v. Bellotti, Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, and McCutcheon v. Federal Election Commission.
These decisions have codified the view that money is free speech, thereby giving wealthy and powerful entities total influence in elections.

Barnes is wrong! There is no difference between Democrat and Republican billionaires; they all have the same goal: total control of the United States. Their method is wealth and power; they are avaricious megalomaniacs
I agree with you 100% on that, ad I am amazed that Alexander Mercouris and Alex Christoforou agree with him and are likewise favoring the Republican Party against the Democratic Party, as-if they were't both controlled by billionaires, and both psychopathic.

America has tacitly redefined democracy. It's one dollar one vote.
That's what we have in America and throughout the U.S. empire, and it is called libertarianism in the U.S. and neoliberalism in Europe.

Exactly, Trump is a Republican, and he is controlled by Adelson and Singer, among others
