How Ukraine Is Collapsing

The first thing that has to be understood about the collapse of Ukraine is that despite what many in the U.S.-and-allied media say, which is that Ukraine is winning, all of that pro-Ukraine anti-Russia propaganda is citing official claims by Ukraine’s Government as being its ultimate source, though Ukraine’s Government constantly fabricates numbers that turn out to have been false; and that the actually verified numbers of casualties on both sides (which the retired CIA analyst Larry C. Johnson has carefully tabulated and reported — and indicated their sources to be “Pentagon/NATO reports, RUSI/ISW analyses” — entirely supportive of Ukraine but not from Ukraine), show very clearly that Russia is unquestionably winning this war.

The rest of this description of how Ukraine is collapsing comes from Alexander Mercouris, who is a living real-time encyclopedia of geostrategy, comprehensively encompassing both its diplomatic and its military aspects, and (like Johnson) he also has terrific unnamed sources, which enable him to be always more impressive in retrospect even than he is at the time of his daily reporting.
