Ritter: Trump Preparing Preemptive Nuclear Blitz-Attack Against Russia
4 August 2025, by Eric Zuesse. (All of my recent articles can be seen here.)
Scott Ritter tells George Galloway, on August 4th, that Dmitry Medvedev’s insult to Trump provoked Trump to send two Ohio-Class U.S. nuclear submarines to move and position close enough to Moscow to pose the possibility of a blitz-nuclear decapitation of Russia’s central command (The Kremlin). Ritter explains how and why Russia’s “Dead Hand” system of automatically releasing all of the thousands of Russia’s nuclear weapons if such a decapitation-strike occurs, is real — not mythology, that system DOES exist — and that in his former role of being a U.N. nuclear-weapons inspector, he inspected a key part of that system.
So, Trump is turning out to be the most extreme of all of the neoconservatives who have occupied the White house, such as George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Until now, no U.S. President has done anything like this. The fact that Trump does it in response to a personal insult is displaying to the public what type of person now actually occupies the U.S. White House.
If the Democrats in Congress won’t immediately call for a special emergency session in both Houses, to convene, to debate impeaching and removing from office this stupid monster, Trump, then his monstrousness is CLEARLY bi-partisan, because, otherwise than by their doing that, there is no certainty that Congress will reconvene before Trump ignites World War Three. No certainty, whatsoever.
Please do all you can to circulate this information to everyone you can. And please urgently call your Representative, and your two Senators, to demand they immediately take action against Trump on this, and to call for an emergency session on it.

This is the most dangerous thing in
24:25
the world. Last fall, the CIA at a at a
24:29
time uh you know in the in in in
24:30
November, December, estimated that we
24:32
were over 50% chance of having a nuclear
24:35
war before years end. I was saying it
24:37
back then too. People, oh, you're just
24:38
fear-mongering. No. Um when you have,
24:41
you know, Admiral Buchanan, uh, of the the
24:45
director of plans for the strategic
24:46
command, briefing a Washington DC think
24:49
tank, that the United States at that time
24:52
was ready to engage in a nuclear
24:54
exchange with Russia, Guys, that's
24:56
nuclear war. A nuclear exchange means a
24:58
nuclear war. Um, he said, "We're ready to
25:00
do it now." Oh, and we think we can win.
25:03
But then he said something interesting.
25:04
This needs to sink into your audience
25:06
here. He said, 'Maybe it's time we be
25:09
more honest with the American public
25:11
about what winning means’. Because he
25:14
said, if we have this nuclear exchange,
25:18
life as you know it will never be the
25:21
same. You will not live in your nice
25:24
little suburban home, be able to hop in
25:26
your car, get gasoline, drive to a
25:28
store, buy groceries, and all that. You
25:29
will live under martial law where food
25:32
and everything is rationed. Uh, you will
25:35
not live with electricity or air
25:38
conditioning. You'll be living in a in a
25:40
much more spartan environment. Uh, your
25:42
life will be hell because you may have
25:44
to wear protective gear to protect
25:46
against radiation. You may be living
25:48
underground. There won't be many of you
25:50
left, because everybody will be dead, but
25:52
we'll have won a nuclear war. So,
25:53
hooray, hooray for us. This is the
25:55
reality of nuclear war. The government
25:58
knows this. They know exactly what's
26:00
going to happen. There will be no
26:01
surviving a nuclear war, even if we quote
26:03
unquote ‘win’ it. So, wake up people. This
26:08
isn't something to chuckle at. A little
26:09
mean tweet exchange, and all that. This
26:12
president is going to kill you. He's
26:14
going to kill all of us unless people
26:17
stand up and say no to this president.
26:19
This is where we need a chairman of the
26:21
joint chiefs of staff who hasn't been
26:23
handpicked by the president and his
26:25
sycophantic secretary of defense to do
26:27
whatever the president wants. We need a
26:29
secretary of defense who says, "Mr.
26:31
President, the redeployment of Ohio
26:32
class submarines through social media is
26:35
ill-advised and I have to, um, I have to
26:38
respectfully refuse to execute this
26:40
order. I'm not ordering those submarines
26:42
to move, because you put them at risk. Um,
26:44
if you want to move them, we'll move
26:46
them at a later date, but we're not
26:47
going to tell anybody about it." I need
26:49
a a a chairman of the joint chiefs of
26:51
staff that says, “You know, preemptive
26:52
nuclear war, which it appears you're
26:54
preparing to go to, would be
26:55
unconstitutional because it violates
26:57
international humanitarian law. It
26:58
violates the notions of, um, you know,
27:02
reciprocity. What are we attacking them
27:04
for? What have they done? A mean tweet?
27:06
You're going to threaten nuclear war
27:08
because of a mean tweet? That's not
27:10
reciprocity. That's, you know, No. But
27:13
we don't have that. We have people who are
27:15
just saying, "Yeah, way to go, Mr.
27:16
President." And we have a whole bunch of
27:18
cultists here in the United States who
27:20
think everything this president does is
27:21
genius when it's not.

Investigative historian Eric Zuesse’s latest book, AMERICA’S EMPIRE OF EVIL: Hitler’s Posthumous Victory, and Why the Social Sciences Need to Change, is about how America took over the world after World War II in order to enslave it to U.S.-and-allied billionaires. Their cartels extract the world’s wealth by control of not only their ‘news’ media but the social ‘sciences’ — duping the public.

I don't believe Trump did any such thing. He just talks. We all know that. We've had people on YT and elsewhere spelling it out: the nuclear sub fleet doesn't work like that. It'd be downright barmy for him to insist it be done and it'd be barmier still if they actually followed orders.
We are a long way from the opening stages but he's still following the script he told the world he follows in the opening stage of his 'masterful' deal making: i.e. exorbitant, outlandish ambit claims that throw them offguard and then he drops down to something more reasonable and they accept it with a sigh of relief.
Not very high tech is he, is it? Just like a bit of a wicked child who gets his own way in the home because everyone is 'frightened' of his next tantrum. 'Frightened' in quotes because no one is really frightened of the child. It could be very small, could be very weak, could be it never does anything physical. But 'frightened' merely of the noise, the disturbance, the unhappiness brought into the home if this kid doesn't get what it wants..
Most ridiculous things... got to have that cushion, got to have that chair, got to go first.. any stupid thing. Absurd and outlandish things. I have seen this before.
Such people don't seem to have a psychiatric or psychological category of their own but their behaviour is seen as a set of behaviours that people with different conditions could use. i.e. its seen as a symptom set rather than a 'type'.
As a 'type' I think perhaps it's best described as ODD - Oppositional Defiant Disorder because so much of the symptology is the same. We can observe the underlying defiant opposition to authority in behaviour such as Donald's, in this symptom set, but it is not quite as clear, as overt, as a downright 'rebel' say, or truculent anti-social character.
So it doesn't fit exactly but its pretty close. It's kinda a more sly and cunning way of defeating authority. Instead of meeting authority on its own ground: legal, physical force, moral argument perhaps, it leaps immediately to another level, going beyond the norm entirely, into the realm of the absurd, the ridiculous, the unknown.
It is cleverer in that respect, without a doubt. It is a 'thought out' oppositional defiance, not an instinctive reaction.
This is what I think Donald is, an ODD for want of a better word. His basic shtick in that case is to demonstrate that he must never be taken for granted for he has the power at all times to spoil anything, everything. It masquerades as 'giving' and 'fixing' etc. but the essence of it is the threat to break, to despoil. That's clear and obvious in the description of the methodology of the 'art of the deal' : go beyond all bounds, impose your own rules, break everything, then take what you want.
What stops them? How to handle them? In the real world, in the home, they always find accommodation, everyone does as they say essentially, the home becomes 'run' by them. Under therapy, of course, great trouble is taken not to upset them. Kindness is showered upon them. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.
But in the real world outside of the home and especially with cases with such a potential for great damage such accommodations don't help. They cannot be allowed to 'run the home'.
So they have to be told 'No'. And then the tantrum has to be taken in our stride and any damage dealt with. Not be 'frightened' by it and turn to appeasement. No. Just continue the 'No' and handle what comes.
In the real, real world out here where things are really nitty gritty and people are being killed, blown apart murderously and excruciatingly deprived of their lives such people if they get to where their tantrum responses are really dangerous simply need putting down or at least putting away.
now I know why the democrat voters wanted to take that low life scumbag' head out so bAAd, and who can blame them?!?!? He is a low life criminal who needs to be removed and then harshly punished.
Be Proud Deep State for installing yet another vile dangerous goon. Shame on you. Can you do anything right ever you filthy Criminal PhaQs?!?!?
