The only thing that Ritter got wrong in this video is that he assumed that what the U.S. Government does is to serve the U.S. people at the expense of people in foreign countries. The fact is that what the U.S. Government does is to serve America’s billionaires at the expense of the people in this country and in foreign countries. Unless this fact (which is documented at that link) is understood, there can be no way to solve the problem (because its cause can’t be understood if this fact is not first acknowledged). However, another thing that he might have gotten wrong is that (at 39:00 in the video) he says that Biden’s cancelling the scheduled October 12th U.S.-and-allied Ukraine-war summit at America’s Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany indicates that “the United States is abandoning Ukraine.” Of course, that would be good. However, on October 10th I headlined far less optimistically, “Biden’s plan calls for WW3 to start after Election Day.”, and argued that “he does want WW3, but not before November 6th. This is why he cancelled the October 12th meeting, which would have prematurely forced Biden’s hand. He wants to win this election, and then to go to war against Russia.” In other words: I interpreted Biden’s actual intention there was merely to pause the U.S. escalation long enough to get Kamala Harris to win the November 5th election. Only time will tell what the truth will turn out to be on that.
