The Current Status of the Prosecution of Israel for Its War Crimes in Gaza

The world is awaiting an initial decision (to come after 28 July 2025), in the case “South Africa v. Israel” (that link to the case is to it at the U.S.-Government-controlled Wikipedia and is therefore slanted favoring Israel against South Africa, but provides at least the facts that Israel’s side acknowledges). (The Court’s official filing of the entire case itself — what South Africa accuses against Israel — is here.) However, already regarding many of the charges, all but one of the judges on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) — who happens to be the Court’s leader and to always vote in favor of Israel because she accepts the Christian Bible as being The Word of God and its God having commanded Israel to exterminate all Gazans — have voted that the Court does have jurisdiction to consider the case. (She voted against even considering South Africa’s case against Israel.)
The NATO-affiliated Atlantic Council headlined on 16 February 2024 “Could the US and other states be implicated in South Africa’s genocide case against Israel?”, and concluded that “Even if the United States avoids an ICJ finding of complicity in or failure to prevent genocide, such a judgment against its peers for acts the United States has also undertaken would influence public perception of the conflict and the United States’ role.” That article’s only reference to America supplying virtually all of the weaponry, ammunition, and satellite intelligence for the bombings of Gaza mentioned just $250 million in weapons, but, actually, on 7 October 2024, America’s AP headlined “US spends a record $17.9 billion on military aid to Israel since last Oct. 7” and failed even to mention the $14.5 billion that Biden and Congress had authorized on 2 November 2023 to be donated by U.S. taxpayers to Israel for its ongoing wars — and provided no breakdown, at all, of when or how that alleged $17.9B had been allocated. On 12 October 2023, “USA FACTS” had headlined “Israel has received more foreign aid from the US than any other country since WWII.” and calculated that “Adjusted for inflation in 2022 dollars,” U.S. taxpayers have donated to Israel during 1946 (two years prior to Israel’s existence) to 2022 (well before the 7 October 2023 event), $317.9 billion; and this means that all-inclusive till the present, the amount is now around $340B and skyrocketing. So: anything that Israel does to Palestinians is being done to them both by Israel and by the U.S. It’s their partnership, against Palestine.
The Atlantic Council’s article makes a passing reference to:
The International Criminal Court — which is legally distinct from the ICJ — has jurisdiction over crimes committed “in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, since June 13, 2014,” and is not limited by immunities. Under Article 25(3)(c) of the Rome Statute, it can prosecute those who facilitate the commission of crimes, including through the provision of means. However, it has not yet publicly released any arrest warrants related to the situation in Gaza.
In other words: that court is even more pathetic than the ICJ is; and, in fact (though not in theory), international law is whatever the most powerful nation, which is the U.S., says it is.
Many keen analysts of history and of international relations believe that Israel is actually the tail that wags the U.S.-Government dog, so that instead of the U.S. Government having imperialist-autonomy over the U.N. and most of the world, Israel does and is not — as is widely assumed — a colony of the U.S. (such as most people assume). Jeffrey Sachs has also come to this conclusion (that Israel controls America), and recently he expressed it again in the context of the U.S. Government’s long effort to replace in Syria the secular Government of Basar al-Assad, by the fundamentalist-Sunni al-Qaeda jihadist government that now rules there.

The War in Syria Was Entirely Created by Washington and Israel
At the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025, renowned economist and global affairs expert Professor Jeffrey Sachs delivered a powerful critique of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.

Speaking at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum during a panel titled “Syria: A Country Reconciling and Rebuilding,” Sachs, who serves as president of the U.N. Sustainable Development Solutions Network, said peace would remain elusive without diplomatic solutions and an end to CIA involvement in the region.

U.S. Complicity in War Spans from Syria to Gaza

Drawing from over a decade of geopolitical developments, Sachs argued that the Syrian conflict and broader regional instability are not the results of internal strife alone, but of deliberate U.S.-led interventions, often shaped by Israeli strategic objectives. He challenged the moral and strategic legitimacy of American support for military campaigns in Syria and Gaza, framing them as obstacles to peace and enablers of ongoing violence. In a call for diplomatic realignment, Sachs urged the United States to abandon regime change strategies and instead support regional self-determination—a shift he believes could unlock peace across the Middle East.
Origins of the Syrian Conflict: A U.S.-Led Regime Change
Professor Sachs attributes the Syrian war not to internal civil unrest, but to a U.S.-driven operation beginning in 2011.
He cites Operation Timber Sycamore as part of a covert effort under President Obama to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad, influenced heavily by Israeli strategic interests.
Sachs argues this foreign intervention led to massive chaos, civilian casualties, and prolonged instability, undermining the sovereignty of regional powers.
U.S. Imperialism and Regional Destabilization
Sachs condemns what he calls U.S. imperialism, claiming it prevents Middle Eastern nations from determining their own destinies.
He emphasizes that true peace is unattainable as long as external powers—primarily the United States—continue to impose regime change and militarized influence in the region.
He links broader Middle East instability to a pattern of U.S.-Israeli regime change strategies.
American Support for Israeli Military Actions
Sachs strongly criticizes the U.S. role in supporting Israel’s military campaigns, especially in Gaza and Syria.
He accuses the U.S. of providing the financial and intelligence backbone for what he calls genocidal violence in Gaza.
The U.S. military alliance with Israel, he suggests, fuels regional violence rather than deterring it.
Obstruction of Peace in Syria and Palestine
Sachs recounts past peace negotiation attempts in Syria, asserting that the U.S. insistence on Assad’s removal was a major obstacle.
This rigid position, he says, resulted in missed opportunities for diplomacy and thousands of preventable deaths.
He concludes that a shift in U.S. policy toward Palestinian statehood could bring about immediate peace and normalization across the Middle East.
West Asia Will See No Peace Until US and the CIA Are [Kicked] Out
The West Asian region has been “manipulated” by Britain, France and the United States over the past century, says American economist Jeffrey Sachs, stressing that the strategic area will see no peace until the United States is out.
Sachs made the remarks at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025, Turkey, where renowned economists and global affairs experts annually deliver critiques of flawed US foreign policy in West Asia.
“This region (West Asia) has been manipulated by Britain, France and the US for 100 years since the Treaty of Versailles,” Sachs said, referring to a peace treaty signed at the end of World War I by the Allied Powers and Germany in the Palace of Versailles, France.
“It will not have safety or peace until the US is out of this region. If you think your big friend US is going to do your bidding and help you get your way.”
The American economist pointed to the divisive policies adopted by the West in the region over the years and said, “Empires divide to rule. They’re not doing the bidding of Syria or Turkey or Lebanon or anybody else. You are calling the US to balance Iran and think that this is going to work out well? It’s not going to work out well…You don’t need the US to pull the chestnuts out of the fire.”
Upbraiding the inaction of the international community vis-à-vis the US wreaking havoc in West Asia, Sachs said, “There’s no international community. We’re trying to make one, but it doesn’t exist right now. That’s the tragedy in this world; there’s no community. There are interests, there are militaries, there are regime change operations. This is not community, we need real community.”

Sachs views the toxicity of Israel to extend throughout the Middle East. I have no opinion yet on whether Israel is the tail that wags the dog of the U.S. Government. I instead believe that there is an international agreement between the Governments of Israel and U.S., that in the Middle East, the U.S. Government will do the bidding of Israel’s Government, and that globally, Israel will do the bidding of America’s Government. This isn’t a Treaty, it is entirely secret, but it has been the situation ever since Truman came into office and then created the State of Israel. Since it is NOT a “Treaty” under the Constitution, and so is entirely secret, not at all democratic, and violates the Treaty-clause of the U.S. Constitution, the U.S. Government since 1945 has been unConstitutional — traitorous (like all secret Governments are). Therefore, even if Israel’s Government does not control America’s Government, the relationship between those two Governments violates the Constitution and constitutes treason on the part of the U.S. Government — constant war by it against the American people.

Professor Jeffrey Sachs is very brave man. To be a Jew, who sees the sad truth about the Zionist movement since the 1840s, and understands how the British worked with them, lying to the Palestinians to create the State of Israel, either silences your grief with fear, or catalyzes your anger with compassion. I think it will be at least another 100 years before the Arab world is wise enough, unified enough, and powerful enough to take back what is rightfully and divinely theirs; while the rest of the world--including the United States--bows out and allows them to pursue their mission.
Plus, it is very unlikely that the ICC or ICJ, will be able to enforce any resolutions against Israel or Netanyahu, as long at the US vetos them. Thus, this is a silent coup in the UN. The question: What hope is there for the UN to do what they were originally created for?

....We need a photograph on the front page of the New York Times showing the horrors of Israel and America’s immoral, evil war in Gaza. It won’t happen, of course, because our mainstream media are all controlled by the Israel lobby. But in the name of humanity, we desperately need such an image to be seen by every citizen in the United States.

America needs to start weeping for the atrocities, crimes against humanity and murderous genocide that the people of this country have been forced to support by allowing our tax dollars to be used as instruments of such massive death and destruction.
