Oh, and what about the mega-billionaires whose political donations and 'news'-media and think tanks etc. had gotten these public officials voted into office to serve them and NOT the public?
This is entirely legitimate, Eric, and must be faced.
Not one issue can be addressed without a full, frontal assault on the ill-gotten wealth of the ruling class. That wealth must be restored to the global working class from which it was extorted as surplus value, and unpaid wages.
Your point, then, about the elected national officials, is well-taken, because you are recognizing that they are fronts for the billionaires who got them elected -- and, as such, those billionaires must be presented with "a full, frontal assault on the ill-gotten wealth of the ruling class. That wealth must be restored to the global working class from which it was extorted as surplus value, and unpaid wages." Expropriation of wealth that has been gained by deceit or other forms of coercion that is or ought to be illegal will be necessary, absolutely essential, in order to transform an aristocracy into a democracy. No one who opposes it is, or can be, a friend to democracy.
You GOT it! Well done, and thank you for questioning me and affording me the opportunity for understanding. This speaks well of you.
On a related note…
‘We demand:
● The immediate release of Mahmoud Khalil.
● An end to xenophobic attacks on immigrants.
● Full restoration of Department of Education funding and staff, and an end to privatization schemes.
● The defense of democratic rights and constitutional protections for all.
● Billions in funding for education and social programs, not war and corporate tax cuts.
● The formation of rank-and-file committees in every workplace and community.
‘The struggle for these demands must be connected to the building of a political movement of the working class against both corporate-controlled parties, which will fight for workers to take political power, expropriate the oligarchs, and use society’s wealth to greatly expand public education and social equality.’
Any talk about "Defend democracy and anti-Semitic" go hand-in-hand ...
Again, the Democratic Party must be disbanded.
Its material assets must be seized and applied to rebuild what its policies destroyed.
Its membership lists must be seized, and those named prohibited from civic participation for life.
Its leadership must be seized and be put on trial with their GOP counterparts for genocide and war crimes.

Still waiting to hear the Democratic Party demands…
Crickets?! 😲😬
My article tomorrow will be about the Mahmoud Khalil case.
Thank-you for the ‘heads up,’ Eric! I’ll watch for it.
