Ever since Google came out with the slogan "Don't be evil" i knew that i had to avoid this search engine like the Pest. Today of course Google is everywhere even if you don't use their Products since most websites featuer Google Products while you access their website. It's like a constant surveillance of everything that got much worse when Google aquired Android used on Smartphones with Apple being the only competitor. Today google is the enemy in your pocket that's to be avoided like the Plague. My hope is that Huawei gets his "Harmony' Software ready so there is a choice i can make.
All western countries , especially Europe has failed to produce competitive Products to Europe while Opera once gave some hope on the Browser side and Linux on the Operating side. Both landed pretty much in the dustbin.
Never use the goog for anything if you can. I use Yandex but I don't do any political or current events searching. I might switch to Brave search. There may be a few fringe search engines to try but avoid all the better known names.
