We have reached a point where even people with minimal critical thinking ability should be able to grasp the position held by those who control this country. The incompetence of those who hold high-level puppet positions has become so apparent as to be comical. Throughout Trump's administration, the ineptitude has been epic. Russia, China, and a significant portion of the planet understand this and are looking forward to the decline of the United States as the world's leading hegemon.
