The reason the West rejected Minsk 1, Minsk 2, and Istanbul is it had nothing to do with Ukraine. It was about kicking Russia out of Crimea. This has been planned for decades. The goal is to take Crimea and bottle up Russia on the east cost of the black Sea. Militarize Crimea against Russia. Cut off all their trade. Cut off influence into Turkey, the Mediterranean, and North Africa. Force them to subject themselves to Western rule. It has been the dream of the West for centuries. I have been saying, for about four years, that Russia was making a big mistake by drawing out the war in Ukraine. Many things can go against you in a long drawn-out war, and that is exactly what happened to Russia. The war against Russia will never be over if Russia allows a rump state of Ukraine with the same current mindset to exist.

In an article just posted, Simplicius claims that the Russian fuel refinery system is being restored despite the damage done to it. In Ukraine, the authorities are in an uproar because cargo ships have stopped moving into and out of Odessa port due to the danger of being fired on by the Russians. Meanwhile, on the front line, the Russians are steadily grinding out territorial advances which the Ukrainians cannot stop.
Of course, this is only his perspective and I simply don't know what to believe about the situation there. However, I tend to agree that this war would have been over years ago if Russia had gone into Ukraine full force and smashed them hard.
Quit repeating Edelman's press talking points. You should know better than this. Take a look at sales to India and China. Setting records every month. Edelman is doing Ukrainian's Western press narratives and also writing Zelensky's speeches. The Ukarine is destroying Russia nonsense is to keep the money flowing. It is grossly over exaggerated
