The candidates are political actors. It's the "outside" players that control the government that matter. We do not get to vote for them. This is why voting is an exercise in futility. No government can be saved from itself since by its very nature it must command the master-slave relationship. Without slaves, no government exists and there is no way any candidate or political party is going to surrender to the slaves.
